FOUNDER OF THE BRAPU GROUP

The Brapu Corporation was made mainly by Ludwig. Hoffman (Ludwig. Hoffman, June 23,1896-September 12,1972) created Mr. Ludwig. Hoffmann is a German entrepreneur, expert in cooling equipment research and development, industrial expert, pragmatic businessman, honorary professor of Aachen University, founder of Brapu Refrigeration Group, Germany.

THE BRAPU CREATOR STORY

IN 1924

Hoffman went to Fklingen Steel Plant in Sarklingen, Germany as the minister of technical transformation department. During this period, Mr.Hoffman made creative transformation of the water cooling process in the metallurgical steelmaking process and thought about the design of circulating water cooling equipment.

IN 1930

Mr.Hoffman met Christopher, his lifelong partner. Janes, both of whom are keen on the research of refrigeration process, set up Brapu Cooling Technology Company named after Mr.Hoffman's mother, which is also the earliest starting company of Brapu Refrigeration Group in Germany. In the early stage of entrepreneurship, Hoffman was responsible for technology research and development and promotion, and Christopher. Janes ran the operation of the plant. Since then, Brapu has provided cooling system solutions for many German metallurgical and chemical manufacturing enterprises.

IN 1931

Hoffman hired Dr. McCall as the technical consultant of Brapu Company. The enthalpy difference theory proposed by Dr. McCall is the earliest and most authoritative theoretical system in the global cooling tower manufacturing industry. For the Brapu cooling tower and other equipment to provide a strong and technical support.

IN 1933

HHoffman creatively added electric motors and wind blades based on the basic prototype of the tank type fan-less cooling tower, which was also the prototype of the early Brapu mechanical ventilation cooling tower, and the cooling efficiency was greatly improved.

IN 1935

Hoffman established the first production workshop of Brapu in Duisburg, the Ruhr industrial area in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, to develop and manufacture cooling equipment products. And to provide many energy enterprises with cooling equipment products and cooling technology solutions for many energy enterprises in Germany.

IN 1945

Hoffman moved Brapu to Dusseldorf and established Brapu's first official plant to develop and manufacture cooling equipment such as cooling towers. Brapu's cooling tower and other products are widely praised in Germany and neighboring European countries, and the products are favored by many energy, power, chemical and other enterprises.

IN 1951

Hoffmann founded a second company in his home city of Duisburg, Germany. Brapu has further increased its workforce, research and development capabilities and capacity.

IN 1954

Hoffman led the technical team of Brapu Company to develop and manufacture large natural ventilation cooling towers and large mechanical ventilation cooling towers, which solved several cooling system problems for The Ruhr Coal Mine Company.

IN 1960

Mr.Hoffman proposed the strategic goal of Brapu cooling products further out of Germany, serve Europe and the world, and provide quality cooling equipment and solutions for the global refrigeration market.

IN 1972

Mr.Hoffman died of illness in his hometown of Duisburg. After that, Ludwig. Mr.Hoffman's son, Gustave. The Hoffman family continues to expand Brapu's global business, established branches in Duisburg, Germany, Dusseldorf, Belgium, the United States, Australia, Colombia, and China, hired a team of professional managers and expanded the global market, making Brapu a trusted international brand in the industry.
